A key ingredient in EndorphiGen® is D-Phenylalanine (DPA), which is sometimes confused with L-Phenylalanine. The problem, as we see it, is that L-Phenylalanine works to increase blood pressure, and higher blood pressure tends to increase the perception of pain. Research demonstrates that only D-Phenylalanine promotes comfortable levels of endorphins, helping you to go about your daily life.
This product contains no added gluten, yeast, wheat, soy, milk, dairy products, eggs, nuts, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, sugar, perservatives, artificial color, or artificial flavor. Non-GMO.
Does EndorphiGen work for everyone?
Some supplements are contraindicated for use in persons with phenylketonuria (PKU), including supplements that contain D-Phenylalanine. Impaired metabolism of phenylalanine can lead to elevated levels of phenylalanine, which in turn can cause inhibition of the decarboxylation of 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), so that little or no serotonin is formed. Normally, 5-HTP is decarboxylated to serotonin by the enzyme aromatic-L-amino-acid decarboxylase with the help of Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate (P5P), the enzymatic form of Vitamin B6.
We had one customer, a female in her late 30’s, who took just 1 capsule of EndorphiGen and described her feeling as “odd”. This same woman was later tested and found to be low in neopterin, which is a strong marker to indicate she has PKU.
Directions for use: 1 capsule 3 times daily on an empty stomach
